TANIT furniture is designed by NISHIKAWA Katsuhito. He uses white birch from Finland, which is both very rigid and durable, to make the plywood. This plywood is made by gluing together and pressing several 1.5 mm thick sheets of wood. Each piece is carefully crafted by Japanese furniture makers using traditional techniques. The furniture is finished with environmentally friendly plant-derived oils.
